What is it about?

VentureGirls: Raising Entrepreneurial Girls To Be Tomorrow’s Leaders is the vision of Dr. Cristal Glangchai and the VentureLab team, who have endeavored to stop the widening gender gap in STEM careers (science, technology, engineering, and math). This book explains how to unlock the creative genius of childhood for a lifetime.

WhO IS IT FOR?

VentureGirls: Raising Entrepreneurial Girls To Be Tomorrow’s Leaders is a book for any parent who wants to empower their child to become an expert problem solver and creative leader. It is also for educators who want to provide a rich experiential and powerful learning experience to their students from kindergarteners to highschoolers.

VentureGirls: Available now!

VentureGirls shines a torch on the limitations of an old education system that falls short in equipping our children, especially our young girls, for the high-tech global economy we live in.

Above and beyond pointing out the problem, Dr. Cristal Glangchai also offers a solution—implementing the entrepreneurial mindset starting at the age of 5, a time before our natural creative genius is snuffed out by peer pressure and societal norms.

By the end the girls were so much more confident in being able to present a project to working groups which was a lot of things they had never done before. It was really awesome to see how they were able to grow not only just academically but as a person as well and have more confidence, be willing to try new things was a really big thing for our girls because a lot of them don't want to venture outside of their little comfort zone.

When I approached VentureLab, I didn't expect for us to get this much from them. The staff at VentureLab have done instruction, have done direct lesson delivery. They have been mentors to some of our teachers that can keep some of those programs going, so initially, you know, that's not what I expected when I went to VentureLab and I just feel like we got so much more.
